SPC Seminar "Negotiation Skills" on Sunday May 11st, 2014 - FURAMA Resorts Danang

Dear SPC members & purchasing colleagues,

Many organizations today are operating at close to maximum efficiency, gaining more profits with less expenses, and doing it faster than ever.

One of main factor leading to this success is to improve skills of the negotiation.

The Sourcing & Purchasing Club of Vietnam is conducting a Seminar on Negotiation Skills.

This seminar will help purchasing and procurement managers build the skills necessary to drive better results to the organizations bottom line.

Participants will refresh the negotiation theory, enhance skills and share their daily practice at the seminar

Seminar Objectives:

Purchasing managers will learn developing negotiation skills to drive “win-win” solution through following topics:

  1. Do you negotiate face to face or through the telephone?
  2. Do you include the User Dept in your team when you negotiate?
  3. Do you have a Pre-Negotiation meeting among the team?
  4. Do you have a NEGOTIATION STRATEGY to achieve the OBJECTIVES and TARGETS?
  5. Do you negotiate with suppliers who are NOT Vietnamese?
  6. Do you recognize certain forms of Body Language as a means of non-verbal communication?
  7. Do you think LISTENING is more important than TALKING in a Negotiation?
  8. Do you ever do a SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity and Threat) of both parties involved in the Negotiation?
  9. What kinds of information you gather before negotiation?

  10. What you should do/ not do in negotiation?
